KALPA TO TABO VIA NAKO & GUE
Wake up in the early morning to enjoy the sunrise and the panoramic view of over Kinnaur Kailash Mountain Range. The Kinnaur Kailash has a height of 4650 meters and is considered as sacred by both Hindu and Buddhist Kinnauris. After breakfast transfer to Tabo, a small town in the Lahaul- Spiti district on the banks of the Spiti River. The town surrounds a Buddhist Monastery which, according to legend, is said to be over a thousand years old. The Dalai Lama has expressed his desire to retire to Tabo, since he maintains that the Tabo Monastery is one of the holiest. Enroute visit Nako Lake, Nako Monastery and Gue Mummy Monastery.
